Ruth C. Okafor is a Gender and good governance Advocate currntly working as a Programs Officer with Connected Development. She is experienced managing projects tied to gender equality, youth development, and social accountability. Ruth performs programmatic roles and is a gender advocate with a knack for societal development and sustainability. Ruth has led campaigns to influence policies affecting youths, women, and girls across various communities in Nigeria. Ruth has a knack for mobilizing communities members, youths and women for social change and advocating for the rights of the girl-child and women. 

She is a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Imo State Owerri, with a Diploma in Project Management. She believes in creating a thriving environment for young people regardless of their ethnicity, gender or group. Ruth enjoys sporting activities, music, and deep-rooted conversations centred around society and development.
